..as perhaps you've noticed, I've been missing from the blog for a pretty long time now.

I feel pretty rotten about it, but I want to give all of you an explanation :

Trouble for me started sometime in February when I was confronted with a sad and pretty traumatizing change in my life.

 I was not ready to face the situation, which proved to be very complex and demanded an absurd amount of my time and energy.

At this point, I'm not perfectly comfortable talking about the specifics of my situation here because I'm still working on just being able to cope.  I'm really hoping that it won't hurt quite as badly soon and I'll be able to give you the details.

Shortly after the whole crisis began, things got even more complicated and upsetting when I was forced to move back to the US very suddenly. After that, I quickly became very ill, most likely from stress, and it has literally taken me these four months to get back on my feet again..

I have really missed le blog (to a fairly dorktastic level, I think) 

&am thinking that maybe re-focusing on it might actually help me 

deal with all the utter stinkwad stuff.

So! 

{ 'so' is always immediately followed in my head with 'sew buttons on yr underwear!' ..but i can't for the life of me figure out why. anyone? }

right. So!

The first order of business will be a re-introduction of sorts, &then :

to fully get myself outta the pits,

an acknowledgment of the good things that have happened in all this dang time.

gee whiz, glad to be back, i'll tell ya what
